TYPOGRAPHY DESIGN

This section includes typography design campaigns that display technique with the arrangement of type to make written language legible, readable,  and visually appealing when displayed.

Projects involve typefaces, point sizes,  line-spacing, letter-spacing, color, illustrations, photos and much more to provoke thought or action when viewed.

(All projects are for educational purposes only.

PROJECT TYPE: TYPE CAMPAIGN

MADE FOR: INTEGRITIVE CAPSTONE

CONCEPT: RISVEGLIO

YEAR: 2019

The objective: create a type weave campaign design for a company of choice and display how it would be mocked up and advertised.  I chose the Carnegie Museum of Natural History as my featured company and  specifically Renaissance sculptures as my theme.

The goal: Showcase a series of posters that displayed a modern style that was bold and eye catching for the viewer. Risveglio is an Italian word that translates to “reawakening.”

I very much love to incorporate hidden messages in my designs, in hopes that it is not only visually appealing, but something to think about and possibly take action.

PROJECT TYPE: TYPE CAMPAIGN

MADE FOR: EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY

CONCEPT: GET CONNECTED

YEAR: 2017

"Get connected," is a technology based conference sponsored by Sony.

A conference that tech heads, innovators, scientists and many around the world meet, exchange, showcase, and share their love for technology.

Objective: create a promotional package for a technology conference that displays complexity, creativity, and technology of course. In addition, show how it would  be applied in the real world with mock up advertising.

Goal: Use digital elements from the technological aspect and incorporate them into the design. By choosing  Sony as my sponsor, I went with a circuit board based theme with a title that reads, "Get Connected." I chose to make it subtle and intertwined with the circuit beams purposely to draw the viewer closer into the design.
